Kiss Me Deadly

Just heard a good song debuted on RadioK this morning by a Montreal band called Kiss Me Deadly. Their record label, Alien8 Recordings, seems to think that the band sounds like Echo And The Bunnymen, The Sugarcubes and Sonic Youth, but I don't know. Vocally, perhaps, but not so much musically. The female vocalist does remind me a bit of Bjork or a less extreme version of the female singer from Blonde Redhead. Kiss Me Deadly will be touring North America supporting Bloc Party, and there's some sonic similarity there (danceable indie rock).
