Interpol Up To The Usual Antics

Yes, Interpol has a new album coming out Sept 28 named Antics, and iTunes has an exclusive track: Slow Hands. It's great! If'n you liked PDA or Obstacle 1, you'll like this one. Check it out.

Also, an unrelated item. I recently joined eMusic on a trial membership. If you aren't familiar with it, it's an online MP3 store but it caters to independent labels. You can download 100 free songs for a week during the trial. I downloaded songs or entire albums by The Wedding Present, The Fall, The Church, The Go-Betweens, The Kinks, Lifter Puller, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Three O'Clock, to name a few. My only advice is to sift through their catalog and get some ideas what you want to download before you decide to join. It can be a little overwhelming choosing 100 songs...

My 2nd song comes courtesy of the above: a cover of the Beatles' It's All Too Much by The Church. The song is from The Church's all-cover album A Box of Birds from a few years back. That song is one of my favorite 3rd-tier (4th?) Beatles songs. Plus, you've gotta love the way Steve Kilbey quotes a few lines from Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue in the outro!
