A boring list from a boring band

This weeks' NYTimes Sunday Playlist by the co-founder of They Might Be Giants is uninspired other than the reference to the re-release of an old Zombies album. By now, most have heard or at least heard that Franz Ferdinand and the Beastie Boys albums are out. Here's hoping for next week...

I read the review...you are right. How totally uninspired. I did like They Might Be Giants, generally for their kitsch factor and that there never would have been a Weezer without a the influence of "Giants". I met them when we did a Lansdowne Street block party with WFNX (oldest alternative radio station in the US)- they were cool, but as I said, only for the kitsch. But then again, would we have even had a Ween, much less a Weezer, without them?

One other comment. I was really excited to hear Velvet Revolver...thought it would be cool. Then I listened to them and...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

Ugh. What a rip off. Don't buy it, or even waste a precious minute of your time downloading it for free.
